Behind the scenes of every event or initiative of the Association, is a committee. These committees help guide our vision and ensure whatever we do is done with impact and purpose. Our committees are open to ALL our members, which means you can volunteer your time to contribute to campus life!

Sustainable Development Goals Review Committee (SDGRC)

The Sustainable Development Goals Review Committee (SDGRC) is focused on examining how internal policies and decisions align with the Association’s commitment to the SDG Accord by collecting data, reviewing current practices, and making recommendations.

Governance Review Committee (GRC)

GRC is responsible for regularly reviewing the Association Bylaws and Policies and recommending changes to Council for final approval.

We are honoured to acknowledge the traditional territories of the Blackfoot, Tsuut’ina and Stoney Nakoda People of Treaty 7, as well as the Cree and Saulteaux People of Treaty 6. We recognize the Métis People and the shared history of the Métis homelands in Region 4. We also recognize that the Members we serve are from many Lands, Territories, and Treaties from across Turtle Island.

As the Students’ Association of Red Deer Polytechnic, we recognize the lasting harm caused by colonial systems and commit to learning this history, honouring Indigenous resilience, and creating a future rooted in mutual respect, relationship building, learning, and accountability.
